Sweet Tea & Cornbread, a beautiful new shop focusing on North Carolina products, is offering Debbie Moose's books including "Buttermilk: A Savor the South Cookbook," "Southern Holidays: A Savor the South Cookbook," and "Fan Fare: A Playbook of Great Recipes for Tailgating or Watching the Game at Home." The pop-up shop opened in Raleigh's Crabtree Valley Mall in September and will remain open at least through the holidays, says owner Tonya Council. Council, the granddaughter of Chapel Hill's well-known Mildred "Mama Dip" Council, also has a baking business, Tonya's Cookies. Tonya Council said that the store will give preference to North Carolina food products but will include other items from the South. She feels the cookbooks will be a good fit for her product line. The store, located on the mall's upper level near the center, offers do-it-yourself gift baskets and refrigerated items including Augusta's Pimiento Cheese and Mama Dip's pies (by advance order).
